Suffering Is a Part of Life,
but It Should Never Be Permanent!

…or Even Long Lasting

The past is always with us, though we sometimes fail to see how it affects us in the present.

If the painful past remains with us, we call it TRAUMA.

And it can rob us of the best experiences in life. Fast, permanent healing is right here!

There is something to gain.

Suffering can be useful, even in the most hopeless circumstance. While pain is a reality we all face, it can serve us when we learn to let it go. It is in those moments of release that we find both peace in the present and additional growth for having experienced trials.

The question is… “How do I let go?”

Perceptions Skewed by Unresolved Pain

Healing trauma is the base of most therapy.

So as a rule, this is where therapy should start. When life doesn’t seem to be working the way we want, it’s often the result of fear, depression, and anxiety, or in other words – perceptions skewed by unresolved pain.

Trauma resolution, then, is the first and best way to get a healthy outlook on ourselves and the world around us.

And the biggest benefit of healing?

RELATIONSHIPS!

Getting along better with your partner, your kids, neighbors, friends, and others is a natural outgrowth of fixing our trauma.

Understanding ourselves and others helps us find the joy that we should be having in our relationships! But we are short-changing ourselves every day because our own suffering gets in the way.

Letting go of the suffering and allowing nature to restore our peace is the key.

Hi, I’m Ryan

As a licensed therapist since 2008, I have worked closely with many different individuals affected by trauma and addiction. I find that the majority of our problems are a direct result of experience.

This is especially true of addicts, who become ensnared in an effort to cope with bad experiences. Having a trauma-first focus allows me to help a broad range of people in a fast and effective manner.

As a Utah native and alumnus of Brigham Young University, I am intimately familiar with the culture of this area. However, I earned my graduate degree at the flagship counseling program in Louisiana at Southeastern Louisiana University. In addition, I got a first rate education in Mardi Gras, crawfish, and hurricanes. I love sports and try to both watch and play when I can – football is king. I also enjoy being at home with my wife and five kids (and the dogs and chickens ).
